This marks the first of many blog entries chronicling our journey back to South Africa for full-time missionary work in the Johannesburg area. Megan and I are busy with preparations right now getting the house and resources ready in our order for our time away home for the next several months (the wonders of modern technology will make all of this run a lot smoother). We land in South Africa on Thursday Nov. 26, an American holiday, Thanksgiving.
We'll have the joy of spending our time in South Africa working with Christadelphian Volunteer Coordinator Lucas Scheepers and his wonderful wife, Leona, and their 3 children, Lilandi, Lieszl, and Llewellyn. There are 3 Christadelphian churches in the Johannesburg area with two new ones developing in the formative stages, that hopefully we'll be able to help with. We'll be members of the Kempton Park Ecclesia. We also hope to visit our former church members from Fayetteville, AR Kim and Cameron Beeler, who are now serving as missionaries in the Durban area, about 5 hours drive away.

During our stay, I'll be busy teaching classes in the Kempton Park Bible Education Center and Megan will work in the Christadelphian Pre-school and Orphanage in the Tembisa township.
Awesome - found your blog :) You should come past the Kensington ecclesia some time (that's where I break bread) - 75 Somerset Road, Kensington, Johannesburg. The website is http://jhbchurch.wetpaint.com. Hope to see you again soon!!
