As a result of God's abundant grace and the preaching work in Pretoria, Djuma Wilondja has asked to be baptized. He successfully completed a baptismal interview today going over doctrinal and life style issue questions administered by Bro. Lucas Scheepers and myself. Next Sunday afternoon, Godwilling, Djuma will be baptized in Bro. Mickey Scheeper's swimming pool in Pretoria followed by memorial meeting there.
Djuma is a roommate of Bro. Allain and Bro. Padre, also from the Pretoria meeting, and they share a flat together. He's been faithfully attending the Pretoria meeting for quite some time and is a serious bible student. He cuts hair for a living out on a sidewalk in downtown Pretoria.
Today has been a full and productive day for us: Kempton Park memorial meeting this morning, followed by lunch at Mickey and Karin Scheeper's home in Centurion where Lucas and I conducted the baptismal interview with Djuma, then off to downtown Pretoria for memorial meeting this afternoon with the Pretoria ecclesia where I exhorted on Psalm 34.
